Answer:

  1. Hover over “My Office” and select “Company Preferences”.

  2. Scroll down to the middle of the page and set the “Start Job Labor Time When Tech Arrives On Site” to “Yes”.


  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select “Save Changes”.


4. Whenever “On Site” is selected on a job, it will automatically change to “Started” and begin the labor time.


This can be a huge time saver! Without this preference turned on, the field technician needs to make two status changes when the technician arrives on site IF you start tracking labor time as soon as the technician arrives. This allieviates the need to go from 'On site' and then immediately make another status change to 'Started'. This allows one status change to 'On Site' and the system will do the work for you. Reduces load on your service technicians and increases acuuracy in reporting!
