Ever missed a customer's reply to your text message reminder after the office has closed? Not anymore! This new feature will allow you to create forwarding rules that will carbon copy all of your incoming messages to one or more external numbers.
For example, if your office hours were Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and you wanted to forward all incoming messages outside of those hours to an external number, your settings would look similar to the below.
TIP: You can simply type in the times you want as opposed to selecting them from drop-down lists.
You can even create overlapping rules for certain times of the day. For example, you could setup a rule to forward messages all day Monday to one number and then add a second rule to forward messages to an additional number between 11:45am and 12:45pm (e.g. during lunch hour).
IMPORTANT: Please note that the orignal message will be forwarded from your Service Fusion assigned number and will include the originating phone number in the body of the text message. Be sure to select that number when replying directly from your mobile device as opposed to simply replying to a thread
